G2211 Can be Reported with Preventive Services

CMS Issued Transmittal 13015 on December 23, 2024, covering expanded reporting of G2211.  CMS allows payment for G2211 when certain Part B Preventive Services are provided on the same day, effective January 1, 2025, which includes annual wellness visits (AWV), vaccine administration, or any Medicare Part B preventive services furnished in the office or outpatient setting.  CMS revised MLN MM13473, covering how to report G2211 with a Part B Preventive Service.
